Tammy Lynn DeHaven

Tammy Lynn DeHaven (Hanline), also lovingly known as “Meme” by her nieces and family, age 64, of Berkeley Springs WV, entered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester VA. She was born November 19, 1960, in Winchester VA. the daughter of Dwight Sr., and Jessie Jenkins Hanline. A proud member of the Clarke County community, Tammy graduated from Clarke County High School in 1979. Tammy lived a life defined by her devoted Christian faith and caring for others. Her kindness, warmth, and open heart ensured she never met a stranger, reflecting the unconditional love she received and shared from Jesus. Her life was a testament to grace, and we find profound comfort in knowing she is now home, resting in the eternal peace she was promised. A woman of many talents, Tammy loved to crochet, had a remarkable green thumb, tending to her garden with joy and patience. She also loved to express her care by cooking and sharing her delicious creations with all those she loved. Above all, she was a true friend to many and deeply cherished her family. On October 16, 2020, She married the love of her life, Terry L. DeHaven. In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by her loving sister, Kathy Poulin and her husband, Ronnie; her bonus siblings, Kathy A. Blade, Sara L. Jenkins, and James R. Jenkins. She was a cherished aunt to her nephews, E. Shane Gray and his wife, Melissa. Steven T. Hanline Jr, and his wife, Shawntel; her grandson Daniel; and her nieces, Kimberly D. Jordan and her husband, Tim Cassidy E. Huffman and her husband, Scott, Jessica S. Poulin and Tara L. Poulin. Tammy leaves behind a wide circle of dear friends whom she considered and loved as family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Dwight V. Hanline Jr. and Steven T. Hanline Sr. A celebration of Tammy’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, at 2PM at Abundant Life Full Gospel Pentecostal, 6350 Valley Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV, 25411 officiated by Pastor Kaleb Trail. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Berkeley Springs, at the above address. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
