Lillie Morris Baker

Lillie Geraldine (Gerry) Morris Baker, age 78, of St. Augustine, FL, died Friday, April 26, 2013 in Stephenson, VA at the home of her son Skip and daughter-in-law Vickie Baker. Lillie was born August 14, 1934 in Rockingham County (Pennlard), VA the daughter of Carl E. Morris and Della Mae Shifflett Morris. Lillie married Floyd Issac (Ike) Baker May 7, 1949 in Winchester, VA. Mr. Baker died June 14, 1988. Surviving are one brother, Sharley (Pete) E. Morris of Winchester; six children, Lee Baker of Bonham, TX, Skip Baker of Stephenson, VA, Gary Baker of Winchester, VA, Jerry (Mike) Baker of St. Augustine, FL, Vicky Miller of Stephens City, VA and Joseph Baker of Stephens City, VA; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. A sister, Arbutus Morris Dugan Ramos and two brothers, Vernon and Carl (Junior) Morris are all deceased. A memorial of her life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at the Winchester Church of God’s Family Life Center, 2080 North Frederick Pike, Winchester, VA 22603 (540-667-8017). A graveside service for immediate family only will be held after the memorial service at the Refuge United Methodist Church in Stephens City, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Lillie’s name to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W.
