Randall Earl Turner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Randall Earl Turner, 69, of Winchester died peacefully, on Monday, June 26, 2017 in his home. He was born November 14, 1947 in Romney, WV the son of Howard and Lucy Triplett Turner. He was married to Charity A. Turner. Randy served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1972. Professionally, he was an automobile salesman for both Kern Toyota and Lamar Sloan Ford. After retirement, he drove a bus for the Head Start school. He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins and he enjoyed watching his grandson, Logan play football at Millbrook High School. Randy was a devoted father, husband, and brother. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Rodeffer, Craig and Tracy DeGiovanni, Seth Marte, and Candy Swartz; grandchildren, Logan and Haley Rodeffer, Luke and Andrew DeGiovanni; sisters, Darlene Tallman, and Cheryl Tederick. A funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in Phelps Funeral Chapel 311 Hope Drive Winchester officiated by Reverend Mike Mayton. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. in Ebenezer Cemetery in Romney, WV. Casket bearers will be Mark and Logan Rodeffer, Jason Tallman, Sam McCall, Scott Manuel, and Chris Rathel. Friends will be received Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice 333 W. Cork St. Winchester, VA 22601 or Ebenezer Cemetery.
