Sarah Isabella Miller, 77, of Winchester died Sunday, March 10, 2019 in University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. She was born September 21, 1941 in Martinsburg, WV the daughter of Orchardist John McKown Miller, Jr, and Madge Sherrard Miller. She graduated from Musselman High School and attended Shepherd College. She has three daughters by her first husband Fred Bauserman. In 1974, she then married her life’s partner, Charles C. Miller. They were married 39 years, until his death. She spent her career as an Executive Assistant and retired from Colorbird, Inc. in Middleburg VA. She was a sharp, smart career woman and devoted mother. She was elegant and dignified, kind and generous to many charities. She loved flowers, bird watching, and was an avid Orioles fan. She enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida for the last fifteen years. She enjoyed jazz music and attending musical theatre performances. She loved Christmas and having the entire family at her home to celebrate. Always smiling and laughing, she loved life and enjoyed it in every way she could. She is survived by three daughters, Gwendolyn Conrad and husband Calvin, Nanette Sipe and companion Daniel Mabbit and his children Peyton and Delaney, and Jeanne Mezzatesta and husband Troy, all of Winchester; grandchildren, Samuel Conrad, and Sophia Mezzatesta, a brother, John M. Miller, III of Natchez, MS, and her companion of the last four years, James Baptista. She also leaves behind her beloved little dog, Fonzy.
