On February 20th, 2022 heaven welcomed Nancy Pearl Adams, 83, of Martinsburg, WV. Nancy was born November 28, 1938, in Harriman, TN the daughter of Arville and Artelia Clough Easter. Nancy was best known as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, GiGi, and Original Easter Bunny to many. Nancy was reunited in death with her children, James Monhollon, Teresa Wright, Roger, and Claudette Adams. Left to treasure a legacy of precious memories are her husband, best friend, and partner for over 35 years David Adams, children Doug (Candice) Monhollon of Nashville, TN, Michael (Ingrid) Monhollon of Sarasota, FL, Donald (Deeann) Adams of Niceville, FL, Marcia (Brian) Cupp of Niceville, CJ (Juanita) Adams of Seattle, WA: son-in-law, David Wright; grandchildren, Ashley McCullough, Jordan, Joshua, Nicholas, and Jessica Monhollon, Brian, Amanda, Kevin, and Adrianna Adams, Ronald Powell, Brianna Cupp, and numerous great-grandchildren. Nancy found joy in reading, cooking, traveling with her husband, card playing, constantly proving her luck against the slots, watching her family grow, cheering on her Tennessee Volunteers, and her dog Charlie Brown. Nancy was a hard-working woman who's quick wit, true grit, and vibrant laugh helped build a business from the ground up, all by her husband’s side. Nancy never knew a stranger, to have known her was to know an earthly angel. Her compassion and empathy for others knew no limit; whether a hot meal, warm bed, friendly ear, or motherly advice - she was a woman constantly in service to others. Even though heaven claimed an angel the world had the pleasure of getting to experience her first and for that we are eternally grateful. Nancy left a profound mark on this world. She taught all of us everything except how to live without her. Friends will be received to celebrate Nancy’s life and legacy Friday 4-6:00 p.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel 311 Hope Drive Winchester. Services and interment will be private.
