Max Vernon Mossholder, Jr., 70, of Winchester, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1942 in Decatur, TX the son of Max V. Mossholder, Sr. and Dorothy Brooks Mossholder. He was married to Anne M. Mossholder. Mr. Mossholder had worked for the FBI and later in customer service with United Airlines for thirty-two years. Surviving is his wife of Winchester; a brother, Jon Brooks Mossholder of Flint, TX; four daughters, Michelle Lowdermilk and her husband Scott of Winchester, Melinda Cochran and her husband Mark of Winchester, Nikole Mossholder of Sterling, VA and Meridith Rich and her husband Jason of Winchester; three sons, Scott Bouldin and his wife Amy of Stoneridge, VA, Alec Bouldin and his wife Lindsay of Winchester, and Andrew Mossholder and his wife Jessi of Winchester; and seven grandchildren, Daniel Mowery and his wife Katie of Charlottesville, Moriah Lowdermilk of Denver, CO, Christopher Lowdermilk of Winchester, Samantha Lowdermilk of Winchester, Hannah Cochran of Winchester and Matthew and Tyler Bouldin both of Stoneridge, VA. A memorial service will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester with Pastor Mike Blitch officiating.
