Leah Ann Pommier, 54, of Frederick County, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 17, 1957 in Winchester, the daughter of William E. and Mildred L. Ashby Pommier. Ms. Pommier had been a medical secretary with Dermatology Associates of Winchester. She was a member of the Winchester Moose Lodge and was an avid bowler and horseshoe pitcher. Surviving are her daughter, Heather George of Wolf City, TX; a brother, Gary Pommier and his wife Harriet of Winchester; two sisters, Connie Gandara of Parkersburg, WV and Michelle Cronin of Florida; two granddaughters, Skylar Cook and Sophie George and her companion and best friend, Billy Fletcher. Two brothers, Ronnie and Billy Pommier are deceased. A funeral service will be Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church, Clarke County, with Rev. Dr. Ken Patrick officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester.
