James "Bob" Barr

April 29, 1953 - February 12, 2016

James Robert “ Bob” Barr, 62, of Winchester went to be with The Lord Friday, February 12, 2016 in Winchester Medical Center. He was born April 29, 1953 in Winchester the son of James and Dorothy Eversole Barr. He was married to Betty Sue Fogle Barr for 34 years. Mrs. Barr preceded him in death. He was a member of the Winchester Church of God, served in the Winchester Rescue Squad, and in his spare time enjoyed reading, fishing, and most of all, riding his Harley Davidson. Professionally, he co- owned Classic Design Upholstery and Custom Millwork. Bob is survived by his siblings, Linda Feltner and her husband Mark, Jeff Barr, David Barr and his wife Donna; sisters-in law Athena Barr, Della DeHaven and her husband Doug, brother-in-law, Boyd Fogle and his wife Jody, and many nieces, nephews, and close family friends. His brother, Tom Barr is deceased. A funeral will be 7:00 p.m. Friday in the Phelps Funeral Chapel 311 Hope Drive, Winchester with Reverend Dr. Darrell Waller officiating. Private inurnment will be Monday in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Friends will be received Friday from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
