Heyward Houston Cook, 89, of Arlington, VA, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1923 in Pickens County, SC the son of Claude Lee and Minnie Rebecca Garrett Cook. Mr. Cook served in the US Army during WWII. He was the owner/operator of H.H. Cook Movers established in 1947. Mr. Cook served as treasurer of the Northern Virginia Household Goods Association. Surviving is his wife, Jean Oliver Cook. A funeral service will be Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Clarendon United Methodist Church, 606 N. Irving Street, Arlington with Reverend Eugene Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Garden Cemetery, Arlington. Casketbearers will be Bruce Cook, Gilbert Cook, Craig Cook, Phillip Stevenson, Gabriel Rodriguez and Kyle Cook. Friends will be received on Thursday, April, 4, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clarendon United Methodist Church, 606 N.
