Glenda Webber Brendle Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Glenda Lee Webber Brendle, 73, of Winchester, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Winchester Medical Center. She was born October 24, 1940 in Winchester the daughter of Berland William and Goldie May Pitcock Webber. She was married to Charles W. Brendle. Mrs. Brendle had worked for Doubleday and Company, Virginia Avenue Elementary School and Apple Valley Head Start. She was a member of Shenandoah Valley Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are five daughters, Carol Trice and her husband Earl of Chloe, WV, Donna Palmer of Bunker Hill, WV, Pamela White and her husband David, Wanda Jenkins and her husband David and Beverly Whitacre and her husband Scott all of Stephens City; three sisters, Carletta Smoot, Ann Turner and Janet Hartley; five grandchildren, Jennifer Grim, Stephen Kump, Melissa McFarland, Emmett Presgraves and Kristen White and three great-grandchildren, Jessica Kump, Taylor Olinger and Logan Grim. Two brothers, Douglas Webber and James “Jimmy” Webber, are deceased. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in Phelps Funeral Chapel, 311 Hope Drive, Winchester with Pastor Eric Farel officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Casket bearers will be David Jenkins, David White, Scott Whitacre, Earl Trice, Stephen Kump, Emmett Presgraves, Terry Shanholtz and David Fishel.
